Rabbi Adlerstein holds the Sydney M Irmas Adjunct Chair in Jewish Law and Ethics at Loyola Law School. He also serves as the Director of Interfaith Affairs for the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Rabbi Adlerstein has lectured widely on the application of Jewish law to contemporary ethical dilemmas across the United States, Israel, Europe and Australia. He has appeared on ABC's 20/20, CBS National News, and radio stations across the country. Rabbi Adlerstein received his ordination from the Chofetz Chaim yeshiva in New York. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Queens College, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Rabbi Adlerstein has lived in LA for over three decades with his wife Reena. They have eight children, and a great start on the generation after.
