Judge Ronald F. Frank was appointed to the bench by Governor Brown in 2015 and currently sits in a civil law courtroom in Inglewood where he has sat in assignments on criminal cases, traffic court, small claims, unlawful detainers, and restraining orders.

Over his 33 years in the private practice several of his cases reached the California and US Supreme Court, and he was named a Southern California "Superlawyer" in civil litigation each year from 2006 through 2015.

The great grandson of Rabbi Hyman Brodsky, Judge Frank was born in Newark NJ. He attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA and University of Virginia School of Law where he was an Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of International law and captained the law school soccer team. He published and spoke widely about torts, product liability, the Lemon Law and trial advocacy. He now helps educate other judges in several legal disciplines, and most recently was a consultant on a reference book for use by judges in the areas of small claims and consumer law.
