After earning a degree in Political Science from California State University Northridge, Drew spent a year studying International Relations in Mount Scopus University in Israel. Drew returned to Los Angeles to earn his Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School in 1996 and passed the State Bar Examination that same year. Since 1998, Drew has been employed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, where he has tried over 100 cases. He is currently assigned in Compton where he prosecutes complex trial cases and supervises the preliminary hearing courtrooms.
