Stuart Carroll represents start-up and closely-held businesses engaged in entertainment, technology, fashion, retail and hospitality. Acting as an "outside general counsel" for his clients, Stuart handles his clients' legal and business affairs including brand identity, intellectual property protection and clearance, trademarks and copyrights, creative content agreements and related transactions.

Stuart serves on the board of directors for California Lawyers for the Arts, a statewide non-profit organization, has taught Copyright Law as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine University School of Law, helps his local school district as a member of its Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee and serves on the City of El Segundo's Arts & Culture Advisory Committee.

Stuart began his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Kings County (Brooklyn) and the Office of the New York Special Narcotics Prosecutor. A native of Los Angeles, Stuart earned his B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and his J.D. from Boston University. Stuart is a member in good standing of the California and New York bars.
